The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) and Vocational Rehabilitation for the Blind (OVRB), in partnership with the State Rehabilitation Council (SRC), are developing proposed modifications to the 2024–2027 State Plan. In addition, the updated Deaf and Hard of Hearing Policy will be included in the public hearing and comment period.
Stakeholders are invited to review the state plan and submit comments. The state plan is located in the above link and on the NFB Newsline. All feedback will be considered; however, individual responses will not be provided. The public comment period closes February 13, 2026.
A public hearing will be held on February 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at standard statewide locations, with a virtual option available.
